Invest less, travel more … right?! If you like to make your getaway travel dollar stretch, then like us, you may discover yourself thinking about a getaway package marketing offer. Know that these advertising vacation package business are not at all equivalent.
After the let down of our recent remain at the Cancun all inclusive through Premier Travel Resorts, I simply left the phone from attempting to reserve the rest of our vacation package with them (a long time in Florida). Let’s simply say that will not be happening. We are just going to forget and eat the expense about it.
From here on out, we will be scheduling vacation packages through BookVIP. If you click over to their site, you will see that it is complete of the most inexpensive getaway plans to some of the most popular locations.
Our first ever all inclusive experience was with BookVIP and it was remarkable. Maybe the Dreams spoiled us.
One fast note … We have just used BookVIP one time, at one luxury resort in Cancun. Logic informs me that not every resort getaway bundle is going to offer a similar experience. It truly is all going to boil down to the research you put in.
Is booking Very Important Person a timeshare?
Investigating the residential or commercial properties provided on BookVIP can be a little bit of a difficulty. They do not market the actual name of the resorts. Rather, they utilize phony names. If you truly desire to sleuth out the location you will be remaining a bit of investigative work on Google to match up the photos will expose the real identity of the property you are considering. We didn’t trouble going that far. There was a lot of information on the BookVIP site to assist us feel comfy with making our booking.
You know ahead of time if the dates you desire to travel are offered. There is time to compare the features and restaurants. This is a big contrast to the marketing vacation bundle sales calls I will talk about in the next area.
When you are prepared to make your reservation with BookVIP, just be prepared for a few extra resort charges and taxes. In our case, part of the additional charge was to cover ideas for the resort staff.
OUR EXPERIENCE WITH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS What Is This Site Bookvip.Com
In contrast to BookVIP, our experience with Premier Travel Resorts (out of Florida) was not the very best. If this had been our first experience, we likely would not have participated in another advertising offer. It was that bad.
Are you on the calling lists? After our very first promotional resort stay, we began getting phone calls offering getaway plans to different destinations. That is how we ended up with a getaway package including our most recent Cancun all inclusive plus a couple short remain in Florida and elsewhere.
These travel sales calls are always a high-pressure circumstance unless you just hang up. Say no adequate times and they will keep dropping the cost to where it really sounds like a great deal. There isn’t much time to look into the holiday homes they are using.
They drew us in with a remain in Cancun (which is convenient for us because of the distance to Belize) and a long time in Florida (hi, sailboat shopping!). So we shot and purchased a package. Utilizing it, that is a whole different story.
Premier Travel Resorts does not make it simple to actually utilize the vacation time. There is a lot of fine print that makes travel preparation very hard and potentially a lot more expensive. They don’t expose these details throughout the sales call.
IF YOU BUY A HOLIDAY PLAN WITH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS, THIS IS WHAT YOU MUST BE PREPARED FOR …
You can just reserve your dates 45-90 days ahead of time. Okay, fair enough.
When you call to ask for your favored dates, they require you to fill out a long type requiring all the details that they currently have. You then have to wait about a week to see if your dates are even readily available. Unless your travel plans will just include your remain at their resort, this makes preparing the rest of your travel really troublesome.
Planning affordable flights, or offered Airbnb stays in combination with your Premier Travel Resorts getaway bundle is very tough. In our case, the Airbnb we wished to remain at after our remain at the resort was scheduled by the time Premier Travel Resorts returned to us.
Our bundle consisted of a remain in Orlando and a stay in Daytona Beach. Premier Travel Resorts requires that those stays be back to back or one month apart. In our case, utilizing them on either end of an organization journey we had actually planned was not allowed.
We utilized the Cancun portion of our trip plan, however we won’t be utilizing the rest of it.
THE BAIT AND SWITCH CANCUN ‘ALL INCLUSIVE’ THROUGH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS
The space was unclean, the toilet was chipped, the lights flickered, which is just the start. You see, they put us up, not in one of the high-end residential or commercial properties that they wished to sell us on, however rather at their ‘cemetary resort’. Seriously, that is what the people at the nice home informed us they called it. Genuine.
Now, to be fair, Laguna Suites wasn’t all bad. The one dining establishment that was consisted of in our ‘all inclusive’ (if you ignore the a/c unit dripping into our food) was really a good experience. They changed up the menu every night, including foods from various parts of Mexico. And the personnel was fantastic. Extremely friendly and accommodating. And very going to help us with our Spanish.
Once over the shock of the difference in the kind of place we thought we would be remaining, we took advantage of it. We satisfied some great individuals. Ate some terrific food. Took some nice strolls on the golf course. And got our rental vehicle a couple days early to go off and explore the area.
THE SALES PITCH
Both BookVIP and Premier Travel Resorts require that you attend a 90-120 minute sales pitch to get their discounted prices. No biggie. We feel like that deserves it.
Premier Travel Resorts, however, needs that you participate in a marketing discussion throughout each stay. When they sold us the bundle, this is various from what we were told. A two-hour sales pitch when you are staying someplace for only 2 nights is a big chunk of time. They sold us four different stays, that indicates as much as 8 hours of moderately high-pressure sales! No thanks.
OK, THAT’S IT FOR MY RANT
