Spend less, take a trip more … right?! If you like to make your getaway travel dollar stretch, then like us, you might find yourself thinking about a holiday bundle marketing deal. Know that these promotional trip plan business are not at all equivalent.
After the pulled down of our current stay at the Cancun all inclusive through Premier Travel Resorts, I just got off the phone from attempting to reserve the rest of our trip plan with them (a long time in Florida). Let’s just say that will not be occurring. We are simply going to forget and eat the cost about it.
From here on out, we will be booking holiday plans through BookVIP. Here’s why …
Undoubtedly, you’ve seen the Facebook sponsored posts. You will see that it is complete of the most affordable vacation bundles to some of the most popular destinations if you click over to their website. They have some seriously glamorous looking stays all over the world at some crazy great rates.
Our very first all inclusive experience was with BookVIP and it was incredible. Perhaps the Dreams spoiled us. This place was off-hook. It was whatever we had wished for and after that some.
One quick note … We have actually just used BookVIP one time, at one luxury resort in Cancun. Logic tells me that not every resort trip plan is going to provide a similar experience. It really is all going to boil down to the research study you put in.
Is booking Very Important Person a timeshare?
They do not promote the real name of the resorts. If you really want to sleuth out the place you will be staying a bit of investigative work on Google to match up the pictures will reveal the true identity of the property you are considering. There was plenty of details on the BookVIP site to assist us feel comfy with making our appointment.
What we enjoy about scheduling with BookVIP? You are on your own schedule. No sales calls, no pressure. When you have done your research study and you are ready, reserve. You will understand what you are getting. If the dates you desire to travel are readily available, you understand ahead of time. There is time to compare the features and dining establishments. This is a huge contrast to the advertising getaway bundle sales calls I will talk about in the next section.
Just be prepared for a few additional resort costs and taxes when you are all set to make your appointment with BookVIP. Our $599 for 5 days/4 nights at a Cancun all inclusive expense around $720 after everything was said and done. In our case, part of the service charge was to cover suggestions for the resort personnel. After the experience we had, we found this to be well worth it.
OUR EXPERIENCE WITH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS Http Www.Bookvip.Com Hotel_Details Wild-bear-inn Id 522&Pid 957&Arrivedate
In contrast to BookVIP, our experience with Premier Travel Resorts (out of Florida) was not the best. If this had been our first experience, we most likely would not have participated in another advertising deal. It was that bad.
Are you on the calling lists? After our first advertising resort stay, we began getting telephone call using getaway bundles to different destinations. That is how we ended up with a vacation package including our newest Cancun all inclusive plus a couple short remain in Florida and in other places.
These travel sales calls are constantly a high-pressure situation unless you simply hang up. Say no enough times and they will keep dropping the cost to where it actually sounds like a great deal. There isn’t much time to look into the trip properties they are providing.
They drew us in with a stay in Cancun (which is convenient for us because of the proximity to Belize) and some time in Florida (hey there, sailboat shopping!). So we pulled the trigger and purchased a bundle. Utilizing it, that is a whole different story.
Premier Travel Resorts does not make it easy to actually utilize the holiday time. There is a great deal of small print that makes travel planning extremely tough and potentially a lot more pricey. They do not reveal these information during the sales call.
THIS IS WHAT YOU SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR …
You can only reserve book dates 45-90 days ahead of time if YOU ACQUIRE A TRIP PLAN WITH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS. Okay, fair enough.
When you call to ask for your preferred dates, they need you to fill out a long form requiring all the information that they already have. You then need to wait about a week to see if your dates are even readily available. Unless your itinerary will just include your stay at their resort, this makes preparing the rest of your travel extremely bothersome.
Preparation economical flights, or available Airbnb remains in combination with your Premier Travel Resorts trip plan is very difficult. In our case, the Airbnb we wanted to remain at after our remain at the resort was booked by the time Premier Travel Resorts got back to us.
Our package consisted of a stay in Orlando and a remain in Daytona Beach. Premier Travel Resorts needs that those stays be back to back or thirty days apart. In our case, utilizing them on either end of a business journey we had prepared was not permitted.
We used the Cancun part of our vacation bundle, however we won’t be using the rest of it.
THE BAIT AND SWITCH CANCUN ‘ALL INCLUSIVE’ THROUGH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS
You see, they put us up, not in one of the luxury properties that they wanted to offer us on, but rather at their ‘cemetary resort’. Seriously, that is what the guys at the nice property told us they called it.
The one restaurant that was consisted of in our ‘all inclusive’ (if you overlook the air conditioner leaking into our food) was in fact a nice experience. They altered up the menu every night, featuring foods from different parts of Mexico. And really prepared to assist us with our Spanish.
Once over the shock of the difference in the sort of place we believed we would be staying, we made the most of it. We met some great individuals. Ate some fantastic food. Took some great strolls on the golf course. And picked up our rental cars and truck a couple days early to go off and check out the area.
THE SALES PITCH
Both BookVIP and Premier Travel Resorts need that you go to a 90-120 minute sales pitch to get their discounted prices. No biggie. We seem like that is worth it.
Premier Travel Resorts, nevertheless, needs that you attend a promotional presentation during each stay. When they offered us the package, this is various from what we were informed. When you are staying someplace for only 2 nights is a huge piece of time, a two-hour sales pitch. They offered us four different stays, that suggests approximately eight hours of reasonably high-pressure sales! No thanks.
OK, THAT’S IT FOR MY RANT
