Invest less, take a trip more … right?! If you like to make your holiday travel dollar stretch, then like us, you may discover yourself thinking about a holiday plan advertising deal. Know that these advertising vacation package companies are not at all equivalent.
After the let down of our current remain at the Cancun all inclusive through Premier Travel Resorts, I just got off the phone from attempting to schedule the rest of our getaway bundle with them (a long time in Florida). Let’s simply say that will not be happening. We are simply going to forget and consume the cost about it.
From here on out, we will be reserving trip packages through BookVIP. If you click over to their site, you will see that it is complete of the cheapest getaway bundles to some of the most popular destinations.
Our first ever all inclusive experience was with BookVIP and it was amazing. Perhaps the Dreams ruined us.
One fast note … We have only utilized BookVIP one time, at one high-end resort in Cancun. Reasoning informs me that not every resort vacation package is going to provide a comparable experience. It truly is all going to boil down to the research study you put in.
Is booking Very Important Person a timeshare?
They do not advertise the actual name of the resorts. If you actually desire to sleuth out the place you will be staying a bit of investigative work on Google to match up the images will expose the real identity of the property you are considering. There was plenty of details on the BookVIP site to help us feel comfortable with making our reservation.
You understand ahead of time if the dates you want to take a trip are offered. There is time to compare the restaurants and features. This is a big contrast to the marketing holiday bundle sales calls I will talk about in the next area.
Just be prepared for a couple of additional resort fees and taxes when you are ready to make your booking with BookVIP. Our $599 for 5 days/4 nights at a Cancun all inclusive expense around $720 after everything was said and done. In our case, part of the service charge was to cover pointers for the resort personnel. After the experience we had, we discovered this to be well worth it.
OUR EXPERIENCE WITH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS Customer Reviews Of Bookvip.Com
In contrast to BookVIP, our experience with Premier Travel Resorts (out of Florida) was not the best. We really likely would not have taken part in another promotional offer if this had actually been our very first experience. It was that bad.
Are you on the calling lists? After our first marketing resort stay, we began getting call providing trip bundles to numerous destinations. That is how we ended up with a trip package including our newest Cancun all inclusive plus a couple brief stays in Florida and somewhere else.
These travel sales calls are always a high-pressure circumstance unless you simply hang up. Say no adequate times and they will keep dropping the cost to where it actually sounds like a good offer. There isn’t much time to research the vacation residential or commercial properties they are offering.
They drew us in with a stay in Cancun (which is convenient for us because of the proximity to Belize) and some time in Florida (hey there, sailboat shopping!). We pulled the trigger and bought a bundle. But utilizing it, that is an entire various story.
Premier Travel Resorts does not make it easy to actually use the vacation time. There is a great deal of small print that makes travel preparation very tough and possibly a lot more expensive. They don’t reveal these details throughout the sales call.
IF YOU BUY A HOLIDAY PLAN WITH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS, THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED TO BE PREPARED FOR …
You can just schedule your dates 45-90 days ahead of time. Okay, reasonable enough.
When you call to ask for your preferred dates, they need you to fill out a long kind requiring all the details that they already have. You then have to wait about a week to see if your dates are even offered. Unless your travel plans will just consist of your stay at their resort, this makes preparing the rest of your travel extremely bothersome.
Planning inexpensive flights, or readily available Airbnb remains in conjunction with your Premier Travel Resorts trip package is very challenging. In our case, the Airbnb we wished to remain at after our stay at the resort was reserved by the time Premier Travel Resorts got back to us.
Our package consisted of a remain in Orlando and a stay in Daytona Beach. Premier Travel Resorts requires that those stays be back to back or 30 days apart. In our case, using them on either end of a company trip we had actually planned was not allowed.
We utilized the Cancun portion of our holiday package, but we won’t be utilizing the rest of it.
THE BAIT AND SWITCH CANCUN ‘ALL INCLUSIVE’ THROUGH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS
You see, they put us up, not in one of the high-end properties that they desired to offer us on, but rather at their ‘cemetary resort’. Seriously, that is what the people at the nice residential or commercial property told us they called it.
Now, to be reasonable, Laguna Suites wasn’t all bad. The one restaurant that was consisted of in our ‘all inclusive’ (if you ignore the air conditioning system leaking into our food) was in fact a good experience. They changed up the menu every night, featuring foods from different parts of Mexico. And the staff was incredible. Really friendly and accommodating. And really happy to assist us with our Spanish.
As soon as over the shock of the difference in the kind of location we believed we would be staying, we made the most of it. And picked up our rental car a couple days early to go off and check out the location.
THE SALES PITCH
Both BookVIP and Premier Travel Resorts need that you go to a 90-120 minute sales pitch to get their discounted costs. No biggie. We seem like that deserves it.
Premier Travel Resorts, however, requires that you go to an advertising discussion throughout each stay. This is various from what we were informed when they offered us the bundle. When you are remaining somewhere for just two nights is a big piece of time, a two-hour sales pitch. They offered us 4 various stays, that suggests approximately 8 hours of moderately high-pressure sales! No thanks.
OK, THAT’S IT FOR MY RANT
