Bookvip Scam 2018 2023

We are bargain hunters. Spend less, take a trip more … right?!Bookvip Scam 2018… If you like to make your holiday travel dollar stretch, then like us, you may find yourself thinking about a getaway package promotional offer. However you need to be prepared. Know that these promotional vacation package business are not equal.

After the let down of our recent stay at the Cancun all inclusive through Premier Travel Resorts, I just left the phone from attempting to book the rest of our trip plan with them (some time in Florida). Let’s simply say that will not be taking place. We are simply going to forget and eat the expense about it.

From here on out, we will be booking holiday packages through BookVIP. If you click over to their site, you will see that it is complete of the least expensive trip bundles to some of the most popular locations.

Our very first ever all inclusive experience was with BookVIP and it was fantastic. Perhaps the Dreams ruined us.

One fast note … We have actually only utilized BookVIP one time, at one high-end resort in Cancun. Reasoning tells me that not every resort vacation package is going to offer a similar experience. It truly is all going to boil down to the research you put in.

They do not advertise the actual name of the resorts. If you truly want to sleuth out the location you will be remaining a bit of investigative work on Google to match up the images will reveal the real identity of the residential or commercial property you are thinking about. There was plenty of information on the BookVIP website to help us feel comfy with making our booking.

You understand ahead of time if the dates you want to travel are readily available. There is time to compare the restaurants and facilities. This is a huge contrast to the marketing trip plan sales calls I will talk about in the next section.

When you are ready to make your booking with BookVIP, simply be gotten ready for a few extra resort costs and taxes. Our $599 for 5 days/4 nights at a Cancun all inclusive cost around $720 after whatever was stated and done. In our case, part of the added fee was to cover ideas for the resort staff. After the experience we had, we found this to be well worth it.

OUR EXPERIENCE WITH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS Bookvip Scam 2018
In contrast to BookVIP, our experience with Premier Travel Resorts (out of Florida) was not the very best. We very likely would not have actually gotten involved in another promotional deal if this had been our very first experience. It was that bad.

Are you on the calling lists? After our first promotional resort stay, we started getting call offering getaway bundles to numerous locations. That is how we ended up with a holiday bundle including our latest Cancun all inclusive plus a couple short remain in Florida and in other places.

These travel sales calls are constantly a high-pressure circumstance unless you simply hang up. Say no enough times and they will keep dropping the rate to where it actually sounds like a bargain. It is required that you do so prior to the end of the phone call if they record your interest and you decide to acquire. There isn’t much time to look into the trip properties they are providing. You may have a couple of seconds to quickly pull up some photos but that is about it. An image deserves a thousand words, however not worth nearly as much as being able to read a couple of reviews.

They drew us in with a remain in Cancun (which is convenient for us because of the distance to Belize) and a long time in Florida (hi, sailboat shopping!). We pulled the trigger and purchased a plan. But using it, that is a whole different story.

Premier Travel Resorts does not make it easy to in fact utilize the vacation time. There is a great deal of fine print that makes travel planning extremely hard and possibly a lot more expensive. They don’t reveal these details throughout the sales call.

IF YOU BUY A HOLIDAY PACKAGE WITH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS, THIS IS WHAT YOU SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR …
You can just reserve your dates 45-90 days ahead of time. Okay, reasonable enough.

However, when you contact us to request your preferred dates, they require you to fill out a long type needing all the details that they currently have. You then need to wait about a week to see if your dates are even offered. Unless your travel plans will only consist of your remain at their resort, this makes preparing the rest of your travel very troublesome.

Planning budget friendly flights, or readily available Airbnb remains in conjunction with your Premier Travel Resorts trip bundle is extremely tough. In our case, the Airbnb we wanted to remain at after our remain at the resort was booked by the time Premier Travel Resorts returned to us.

Our plan consisted of a remain in Orlando and a stay in Daytona Beach. Premier Travel Resorts requires that those stays be back to back or 1 month apart. So, in our case, utilizing them on either end of a business journey we had actually planned was not permitted.

We used the Cancun part of our getaway package, but we will not be utilizing the rest of it.

THE BAIT AND SWITCH CANCUN ‘ALL INCLUSIVE’ THROUGH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS
You see, they put us up, not in one of the high-end residential or commercial properties that they desired to sell us on, however rather at their ‘cemetary resort’. Seriously, that is what the guys at the nice residential or commercial property told us they called it.

The one restaurant that was consisted of in our ‘all inclusive’ (if you overlook the air conditioner dripping into our food) was actually a great experience. They altered up the menu every night, featuring foods from different parts of Mexico. And very prepared to help us with our Spanish.

Once over the shock of the difference in the kind of location we believed we would be staying, we made the most of it. And selected up our rental cars and truck a couple days early to go off and explore the location.

THE SALES PITCH
Both BookVIP and Premier Travel Resorts need that you go to a 90-120 minute sales pitch to get their discounted costs. No biggie. We feel like that deserves it.

Premier Travel Resorts, however, requires that you participate in a marketing discussion during each stay. This is different from what we were told when they sold us the package. A two-hour sales pitch when you are staying somewhere for only 2 nights is a big portion of time. They sold us 4 different stays, that means up to eight hours of moderately high-pressure sales! No thanks.

OK, THAT’S IT FOR MY RANT
