Spend less, take a trip more … right?! If you like to make your getaway travel dollar stretch, then like us, you may discover yourself considering a getaway package promotional deal. Know that these promotional holiday package business are not at all equivalent.
After the pulled down of our current stay at the Cancun all inclusive through Premier Travel Resorts, I simply left the phone from trying to reserve the remainder of our vacation bundle with them (a long time in Florida). Let’s simply state that will not be taking place. We are simply going to consume the expense and forget about it.
From here on out, we will be scheduling trip bundles through BookVIP. If you click over to their site, you will see that it is full of the most inexpensive getaway bundles to some of the most popular destinations.
Our very first all inclusive experience was with BookVIP and it was amazing. Possibly the Dreams spoiled us. This location was off-hook. It was whatever we had hoped for and then some.
One fast note … We have just utilized BookVIP one time, at one luxury resort in Cancun. Logic tells me that not every resort holiday bundle is going to provide a similar experience. It actually is all going to come down to the research study you put in.
Is booking Very Important Person a timeshare?
Researching the residential or commercial properties provided on BookVIP can be a little a difficulty. They don’t market the actual name of the resorts. Instead, they use phony names. If you truly want to sleuth out the location you will be remaining a bit of investigative work on Google to match up the images will reveal the real identity of the property you are thinking about. We didn’t trouble going that far. There was a lot of details on the BookVIP website to help us feel comfortable with making our booking.
What we enjoy about reserving with BookVIP? You are on your own schedule. No sales calls, no pressure. Schedule when you have actually done your research study and you are ready. You will understand what you are getting. You understand ahead of time if the dates you want to travel are readily available. There is time to compare the restaurants and features. This is a big contrast to the advertising holiday plan sales calls I will discuss in the next section.
Simply be prepared for a few extra resort charges and taxes when you are all set to make your appointment with BookVIP. Our $599 for 5 days/4 nights at a Cancun all inclusive cost around $720 after whatever was stated and done. In our case, part of the additional charge was to cover pointers for the resort staff. After the experience we had, we found this to be well worth it.
OUR EXPERIENCE WITH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS Bookvip.Com You’ve Been Awarded A Free Vacation
In contrast to BookVIP, our experience with Premier Travel Resorts (out of Florida) was not the very best. If this had been our first experience, we likely would not have actually participated in another promotional offer. It was that bad.
Are you on the calling lists? After our very first marketing resort stay, we started getting call providing vacation plans to different locations. That is how we wound up with a vacation package including our most recent Cancun all inclusive plus a couple short remain in Florida and elsewhere.
These travel sales calls are constantly a high-pressure situation unless you just hang up. Say no adequate times and they will keep dropping the price to where it really sounds like a bargain. If they capture your interest and you decide to acquire, it is needed that you do so prior to the end of the call. There isn’t much time to research the vacation residential or commercial properties they are using. You may have a couple of seconds to quickly bring up some images however that has to do with it. An image is worth a thousand words, but unworthy almost as much as having the ability to read a few evaluations.
They drew us in with a stay in Cancun (which is convenient for us because of the distance to Belize) and a long time in Florida (hi, sailboat shopping!). So we shot and bought a bundle. Using it, that is an entire different story.
Premier Travel Resorts does not make it simple to actually utilize the vacation time. There is a great deal of small print that makes travel planning very hard and possibly a lot more pricey. They do not expose these details throughout the sales call.
IF YOU BUY A TRIP PACKAGE WITH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS, THIS IS WHAT YOU SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR …
You can only schedule your dates 45-90 days ahead of time. Okay, fair enough.
When you call to ask for your favored dates, they require you to fill out a long type requiring all the details that they already have. You then have to wait about a week to see if your dates are even readily available. Unless your travel plans will just consist of your stay at their resort, this makes planning the rest of your travel very troublesome.
Preparation budget-friendly flights, or offered Airbnb remains in conjunction with your Premier Travel Resorts holiday plan is extremely tough. In our case, the Airbnb we wished to stay at after our stay at the resort was reserved by the time Premier Travel Resorts got back to us.
Our package included a remain in Orlando and a remain in Daytona Beach. Premier Travel Resorts requires that those stays be back to back or thirty days apart. So, in our case, using them on either end of a service journey we had prepared was not permitted.
We used the Cancun part of our holiday bundle, but we won’t be utilizing the rest of it.
THE BAIT AND SWITCH CANCUN ‘ALL INCLUSIVE’ THROUGH PREMIER TRAVEL RESORTS
The space was filthy, the toilet was chipped, the lights flickered, which is simply the beginning. You see, they put us up, not in one of the high-end residential or commercial properties that they wished to sell us on, but rather at their ‘cemetary resort’. Seriously, that is what the guys at the great property told us they called it. For real.
The one dining establishment that was consisted of in our ‘all inclusive’ (if you ignore the air conditioner dripping into our food) was in fact a great experience. They changed up the menu every night, including foods from various parts of Mexico. And extremely willing to help us with our Spanish.
Twice the shock of the difference in the kind of place we thought we would be staying, we made the most of it. We met some great individuals. Consumed some terrific food. Took some good walks on the golf course. And got our rental cars and truck a couple days early to go off and check out the area.
THE SALES PITCH
Both BookVIP and Premier Travel Resorts need that you attend a 90-120 minute sales pitch to get their discounted rates. No biggie. We seem like that is worth it.
Premier Travel Resorts, however, needs that you participate in a promotional presentation during each stay. This is various from what we were informed when they sold us the package. When you are staying somewhere for just two nights is a substantial portion of time, a two-hour sales pitch. They offered us four different stays, that suggests as much as 8 hours of reasonably high-pressure sales! No thanks.
OK, THAT’S IT FOR MY RANT
